About Stephanie's Mission
I’m Stephanie—a former college athlete, lifelong fighter, and passionate advocate for using running to make a difference. My mission is to turn my personal challenges into a force for good, inspiring others while raising funds for The Polycistic Kidney Foundation.
As someone living with multiple autoimmune illnesses and a rare neurological condition that can leave me temporarily paralyzed, I’ve faced firsthand the unpredictability of life and health. Every step I take is a celebration of the strength I can still muster, driven by my motto: *“Go all out today because tomorrow you might not be able to walk.”*
Running isn’t just a sport for me—it’s a way to honor resilience, amplify voices that need to be heard, and contribute to life-changing efforts. My races are fueled by a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to leaving a positive impact on the world.
On this page, you’ll find updates on my training, Chicago Marathon fundraising efforts, and information on Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Through your support, we’re not just running—we’re making strides toward hope, awareness, and change. Whether it’s raising funds for groundbreaking research, supporting underserved communities, or advocating for chronic illness awareness, every mile I run represents a step toward a better future.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re proving that even the hardest challenges can be transformed into something powerful and meaningful. Let’s run with purpose, lift others up, and make every step count!
